International orders may attract local Customs taxes or duties on arrival to your country. These taxes/duties are required to be paid by the purchaser and are not the responsibility of Koa Honey Ltd (Native Kiwi).
We accept no liability for the refund/replacement of any goods or any costs relating to, or arising from, the importation or confiscation of any goods by your countries Customs Office or other government body. Likewise any import duty or tax payable on your order is your responsibility and is beyond our control. If an order is returned to us by your country import authorities in resalable condition, we’ll refund you the value of the order less any postage costs incurred to us. We can’t provide a refund until we’ve received the products back.
We recommend you contact your local Customs Office for further information on import regulations in your country if you have any concerns.
International Gift Deliveries options
For international gift deliveries we offer a prepaid duty & tax service. This gives the sender (purchaser of the gift items) the option to prepay any applicable duty & tax that may be incurred by the destination country’s customs department.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
IMPORTANT: We are unable to ship any products to Western Australia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Slovenia, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Egypt & Mexico.
We offer delivery using DHL Express courier only.
The price of shipping is based on the weight and size of the products purchased, and the destination. The total cost can be calculated at the checkout once the items have been selected and added to the cart. All international orders are fully tracked and have a delivery target of 3-10 working days. You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Australia
Shipments must be under 10kg of honey. Anything exceeding this will be rejected and destroyed at the cost of the buyer. Shipments may be subject to GST .
China
When a shipment contains multiple items, the value must not exceed CNY1000 for personal use. Single items above the value of CNY1000 can be purchased for personal use. China customs deem “personal use” case by case so we recommend getting in touch with customs for inquiries. Anything exceeding this will be rejected and destroyed at the cost of the buyer. Shipments may be subject to GST.
European Union
Shipments must be under 2kgs. Anything exceeding this will be rejected and destroyed at the cost of the buyer. Shipments may be subject to VAT/USt./TVA etc
Hong Kong
Random inspection by Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department may delay shipments.
Japan
Shipments must be under 10kgs of honey and not for resale purposes. Anything exceeding this will be rejected and destroyed at the cost of the buyer. Shipments may be subject to VAT.
Kuwait
It is recommended that buyers nominate their own broker or pay for DHL 3rd party to clear the shipment. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
Malaysia
Only honey is accepted into Malaysia, not our range of supplements
Oman
Honey products allowed.
Qatar
Personal shipments may be strictly inspected depending on the quantities being imported.
Taiwan
Shipments must be under 1kg. Anything exceeding this will need an import permit or be rejected and destroyed at the cost of the buyer. Shipments may be subject to VAT.
United Arab Emirates
2-3 jars of honey are permitted. Consignee needs to provide a valid Emirates ID copy (EID) or Passport (PP) copy with UAE Residence via page. Anything exceeding this will be rejected and destroyed at the cost of the buyer. Shipments may be subject to VAT.
Saudi Arabia
May be subject to Ministry of Health inspection for approval.
Singapore
Shipments must be under 5kgs of honey. Anything exceeding this will be rejected and destroyed at the cost of the buyer. Shipments may be subject to GST.
PLEASE NOTE: International orders may be subject to duties and taxes as per the receiving countries customs regulations. DHL, like any other international transportation company, must adhere to local customs legislation. If your order is subject to customs duties, taxes, and other import charges, you will be contacted directly to make payment for these charges before your order can be released by customs for delivery by DHL. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be paid for by Koa Honey Ltd (Native Kiwi).
Trade Orders
Larger orders than those specified above are possible. They require a different level of documentation and tax accompanying the shipment. As larger orders are likely to be trade orders, contact us with your requirements and we will work with you to achieve your needs.
Shipping Costs
Courier cost appears at checkout and will change from time to time due to courier fuel levies. These levies are annoyingly, a large part of the cost.
Indicative courier costs from New Zealand up to a 2Kg order are:
