Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy:

Customs Regulations prevent us to ship packages of honey above 2kg to China or the European Union including the UK. 

Bulk orders are possible to these countries, please contact us directly instead of online shopping. See below for more comments on Customs regulations.

All orders are shipped from New Zealand through the international carrier DHL unless you choose our NON TRACKED ( Buyers Risk) option.  

International shipping costs are determined by the total weight of your order, and the country you are shipping to. To calculate the cost of shipping, please complete the stage of the checkout process which includes entering the shipping destination. You can view your total shipping costs prior to making your purchase. 

As a guide we have some indicative shipping rates below: 

Middle East

  • International Courier - DHL  2-5 business days 

East Asia & North America 

  • International Courier - DHL  2-5 business days | approx. $60 - $80
  • USA ONLY- ‘Non-Tracked’ (Buyers Risk) NZ Post for Orders < $250 | can take up to 30  Business Days | $25


  • International Courier - DHL | 2-5 business days | approx. $20 - $50
  • ‘Non-Tracked’ (Buyers Risk) NZ Post for Orders < $250 | can take up to 30 Business Days $15

*Due to customs and import restrictions we are unable to ship pure honey to Western Australia.

South Pacific

  • International Courier - DHL  2-5 business days | approx. $60 - $80

    Europe & Rest of World

    • International Courier - DHL   | 2-5 business days | approx. $60 - $80 

    UK orders
    Due to the new tax rules in the UK, effective 1 Jan 2021, we are unable to fulfil any orders under £135. Orders over £135 can be placed but are subject to UK tax requirements. Options will be displayed at checkout. 

    All prices quoted are in NZD unless stated otherwise.

    We ship within three business days. If we are unable to dispatch your order within three business days, we will contact you and advise you of the expected dispatch date.

    Please note: We reserve the right to refuse orders or negotiate delivery if orders are particularly large. It is the customers responsibility to ensure the correct delivery address details have been entered at the time of ordering. We will not be liable for any costs associated with resending an order due to the delivery address details being incorrect. 

    Saving Money on International Shipping / Shipping at Buyers Risk
    We recommend that international customers use tracked DHL international shipping. Some shipping methods are declared as 'non-tracked'. This means that these shipping methods do not offer tracking and you take all responsibility for lost or damaged packages. Once the shipment leaves our facility our responsibility ends. We will not issue refunds or ship replacements under any circumstance. You will confirm that you understand these terms when selecting "I Agree with the Terms & Conditions" in the shopping cart.

    What company do you send my parcel with? 
    Your parcel will be delivered right to your door using DHL. 
    Non-tracked international Shipping is sent via NZ Post and will be delivered by your local postal service.

    When will I receive my order? 
    Shipping times will vary according to your country but when using DHL international courier orders are typically with you, within 6-10 working days anywhere in the world from the day of placing your order.  However, as we don't control all parts of the delivery chain, we can't always guarantee that your item will always reach its destination within the delivery target, but we will always try to do our best. 

    Public holidays and the Christmas period can result in delays. 

    Please note that some delivery options are not available to some destinations.


    New Zealand Delivery:

    We offer FREE delivery within New Zealand on all orders over NZD $100.  For orders under this amount, postage is just $6.90.  

    What company do you use to send my parcel?
    Your parcel will be delivered right to your door using Courier Post. If no one is home at the time of delivery, the courier driver will leave your parcel at your door or nearby in a safe location, or if it's unsafe to do so, they'll leave a card to call. 

    When will I receive my order? 
    Orders are delivered 3 working days from receiving your order and weekdays only.  For rural addresses, please allow an extra 1-2 days for delivery. Orders placed in the weekends will be processed the following business day.

    Can I send my order to a business address? 
    Yes!  Please remember to include the business name to ensure a safe delivery. 

    Do you send to box numbers? 
    Yes, we deliver to street and PO Box addresses. 

    Customs/Import Regulations:

    We can't ship jars of honey above 2kg to China or the European Union including the UK. 

    Customs and import regulations vary widely between countries. Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to be aware of all of the regulations specific to any given country. Where we are aware of any particular import restrictions, we endeavour to make note of this on the product detail page.

    We accept no liability for the refund/replacement of any goods or any costs relating to, or arising from, the importation or confiscation of any goods by your countries Customs Office or other government body. Likewise any import duty or tax payable on your order is your responsibility and is beyond our control. If an order is returned to us by your countries import authorities in resalable condition, we'll refund you the value of the order less any postage costs incurred to us. We can't provide a refund until we've received the products back.  

    We recommend you contact your local Customs Office for further information on import regulations in your country if you have any concerns.
